Flowan Sentinel is an entirely web-based, cost-effective and easy to use server monitoring system. It makes it easy to proactively manage Microsoft Windows-based computers and servers. The software provides a centralized view of all of the monitored computers using a “red”, “yellow” and “green” color scheme to indicated the status of each computer. The Flowan Sentinel software collects and monitors the following information on each computer:
- Windows Event Log errors and warnings
- Disk drive information and disk free space
- Computer hardware information (i.e. number of processors, physical memory, manufacturer and model, etc.)
- Operating system version, serial number and last reboot date/time
- Software installed and installation date/time

| Proactive Monitoring |
| Unlike many server monitoring software products, Flowan Sentinel uses a proactive model for determining the events to monitor. Many competing server monitoring products require you to define the events where you want to be notified. Flowan Sentinel notifies you of all events (warnings and errors) and allows you to define filters to prevent notifications for certain events. With this model, Flowan Sentinel guarantees that you are always informed when new events occur. |
