Hence your customers enter the appropriate information needed to effectively solve their problem. |

| Custom Field Features |

- You define custom fields by problem type, so customers are prompted based on the problem type they select as they enter their case.

- You create the text prompts that are displayed to your customers and designate if the data is optional or required and can even define default values.
|
- You define the type of data for each custom field you add. The system lets you select if the field should be “free” text, numeric with decimal places, numeric without decimal places, a date, a check-box, radio buttons, or a drop-down list with your specific values.

- You control where you want the custom fields to appear to your customers by defining the page number where the field is displayed, the section heading for the field(s) and what order you want the fields to display.

- You are able to test entering a case with your custom fields before you release them to your customers.
